Possibly in Michigan
Possibly in Michigan is a short film created by Cecelia Condit in 1983 and whilst Cecelia has created many others, Possibly in Michigan remains her most popular. The short film is based around two heroines named Sharon (portrayed by Jill Sands) and Janice (portrayed by Karen Skladany) as they are stalked throughout a mall and their neighborhood by a man whos true name we don't learn but is labeled as 'Prince Charming' (portrayed by Bill Blume). Throughout the short film we are given context clues, most usually songs, to indicate the theme of cannabilism, that the audience most commonly assumes is referring to Charming. Throughout the short film, we are shown many flashes of random objects and visuals, for example, whilst the two heroines converse in a perfume store we are shown flashes of Sharon laying elegantly on her couch spraying the perfume on her neck as Charmings silouette is shown standing slightly out of frame of the camera, and completely out of eyesight to Sharon. Soon after the women realise they are being followed they swiftly run and escape from the shopping mall they were previously situated in with Charming far behind them. However when the car arrives at their shared neighborhood, Charming is already there, standing on the front yard of a property although the heroines don't seem to acknowledge his presence. Later on, Charming breaks into Sharon's house and attempts to strangle and stab her, however is thwarted when Janice shoots him through an open window. After this the true cannibals are revealed as those we though the heroines. They proceed to dismember him and feast on him in form of a stew. The next day Sharon places newpaper wrapped bones amongst her other rubbish and places it outside. The garbage men are none the wiser and dump the bags into the truck without a second glance and throughout this scene, credits roll. Possibly in Michigan became a lot more well known as a sound sample became viral on tiktok and as of current the Youtube video has 4.8 million views.
